We’re throwing a party!! + BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

Happy first day of spring, reader! It’s a new season; a time for rebirth and renewal. It’s starting to get warm again!

Sounds Escaping’s latest releases, Stretch Marks’ Who & What – The Complete Studio Recordings and Personality Crisis’ Personality Crisis have been doing very well. We have a great write-up in the Winnipeg Free Press in the current Uptown section (you can see the whole thing in our Instagram feed!) and a few stores in Winnipeg are stocking all of our discs and selling out of stock on the regular. It feels great!

We’ve decided to throw a party to celebrate these releases by these two brilliant rock groups. Bands, booze, and blistering noise. It’ll be at the Pyramid Cabaret on April 28, 2017 and admission is set at $20/person. Tickets will be available directly from us here at Sounds Escaping.

And now for our feature presentation…

Personality Crisis are reuniting for this CD release party. Let that sink in.

For the first time in 33 years, all of PC members past and more-past will be sharing the stage for the first time as Personality Crisis on the only date of their “Putting The Creatures To Bed” tour. That’s Mitch Funk, Jimmy Green, Duane ‘Eddy’ Froslev, Richard Duguay, and Jon Card, plus original guitarist Walter Kot (he’s all over the second disc of our set) and their first drummer Mark Halldorson, all together, in Winnipeg, on stage, playing Personality Crisis (and maybe some Le Kille) songs! We feel like we’re repeating ourselves, but, PERSONALITY CRISIS ARE REUNITING!!!

The Facebook event page is here: https://www.facebook.com/events/242558516215670/

The Personality Crisis performance will be professionally filmed. What on earth would we do with a/v from such an event… Stay tuned!
